GARDENING PROGRAMS

Cultivating wellness for mind, body and garden.

At Rooted, we’re a fitness studio, but we believe in exploring and understanding gardening just like we do our bodies.

How do we define gardening? It’s the science and art of growing plants, like flowers, fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and keeping them healthy and beautiful. Simply put, it’s about planting, growing, and caring for gardens or crops.

In our gardening classes, we connect the dots between growing a healthy garden and taking care of your body. Both need proper nutrition, water, and space to grow.

Let’s bring fitness and gardening together under one roof and grow as a community—mind, body, and garden!

WHAT WE OFFER

At Rooted, we aim to build a strong sense of community among our gardening members. While we don’t have a physical garden, we transform our fitness studio into a shared space where members can learn, explore, and dive into the world of plants. From porches, patios and windowsills, we want all our members to know about gardening and how to activate their greenthumbs.

Each month, our community comes together to explore a variety of gardening experiences designed to help you connect more deeply with your body. Together, we grow California’s seasonal fruits and vegetables and participate in workshops on fermentation, cultivating and using fresh herbs, connecting with ancestors through plants and herbs, caring for houseplants, composting, and more.

Our goal is to provide a hands-on gardening experience in a communal setting, inspiring members to grow at home and come back and share their successes and knowledge with the Rooted community.

EVENTS

We host monthly workshops and classes for small groups of 5 to 10 people. This allows for an intimate and engaging experience.

For each session, we transform our fitness studio into a cozy and welcoming space. We’ll set the mood with light refreshments, beverages, music, and soothing aromatherapy. It’s a chance for members to relax, connect, and share the experience with fellow gardeners.
